Once again,  Bella Voce has been voted "BEST CHORAL ENSEMBLE" - now the 5th year in a row! This is wonderful news on the cusp of our 20th Anniversary Season!

Bella Voce's Artistic Director, Dawn Willis, Vice-Chair Vikki Day and Board Member Deb Flanders were on hand to accept the reward at the Awards Party held at the Echo Center in Burlington on August 2, 2024.

Bella Voce voted BEST CHORAL ENSEMBLE

22,000 Seven Days Newspaper readers voted​ in the 2022 Seven Daysies Awards. Final result: Bella Voce was voted "BEST CHORAL ENSEMBLE" for the 3rd year in a row! (Our last victory was in 2019, and then the pandemic put a hold on the Seven Daisies festivities for a while.) Thank you for not forgetting about us during that unfortunate time! We all missed singing for you.

Bella Voce to Represent Burlington in Bethlehem Christmas Eve Celebration

December 15, 2020

Bella Voce has been selected to represent Burlington in the Burlington-Bethlehem-Arad Sister City Program this December.  Our holiday video, O Little Town of Bethlehem, arranged by Artistic Director Dawn Willis, along with greetings from Burlington’s Mayor Weinberger, will join videos of choirs from all over the world as part of a presentation to be aired in Bethlehem, Palestine this Christmas Eve. We are hoping to be able to get a link to the event.

Concert Cancellations due to Covid Pandemic

July 28, 2020

Bella Voce has been forced to cancel plans for their December 2020 Holiday Concerts in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic which has affected everyone - but especially those arts organizations dependent on performances that include singing. If all goes well, we hope to return to our rehearsal and concert schedule in the Spring of 2021. We we will keep a close eye on all the latest developments and will have more information for you as things unfold. In the meantime we hope to release our latest CD, "Down by the River" soon.

Bella Voce wins Seven Daysies Award Second Year in a Row!

Once again, Bella Voce Women's Chorus has been chosen by readers of Seven Days newspaper as Vermont's "Best Choral Ensemble" for 2019! Bella Voce won in the same category in 2018.
