Bella Voce Women's Chorus of Vermont was founded in March of 2004 by Dr. Dawn Willis and performed its first concert in May of that same year. The chorus, which consists of auditioned singers drawn from five northwestern Vermont counties, includes music educators, directors of church ensembles, music education majors, and women of all ages who simply enjoy singing. Bella Voce presents two major concerts and additional community performances each year and has commissioned numerous new choral pieces for women's voices. The chorus regularly performs throughout Vermont and has toured in Massachusetts (2012), Austria and Italy (2011), and Ireland (2008). Bella Voce's recordings include: Christmas Joy (2008), Now Let Us Sing (2007), Glorious Seasons (2012), Songs of Hope and Freedom (2014), Tapestry of Song (2014) and Heart Songs (2017).

The Bella Voce Mentoring Program for Young Conductors was created in 2005 to offer advanced music leadership opportunities each year to five to eight college music education majors and women entering music professions. A Conducting Intern is selected from the young women in this program and is given the opportunity to conduct in performances throughout the season.

Cantiamo is a smaller chamber ensemble within Bella Voce that sings a cappella choral selections in a wide range of musical styles. Cantiamo performs at various musical and social events throughout the year.
